Dr Julie Shields grew up in Ontario, Canada and lived there for 20 years until moving to New Hampshire with her family. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2008 after completing a year of clinical education at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (at Virginia Tech). She is excited to be part of the Medfield community and looks forward to meeting you.

Dr Shields recently got engaged and soon to be married in September 2009. She lives in Boston with her labradoodle Brinley.
